4.5 Minutes of Engineering Marvel

Rumors swirled throughout 2012 about the next big attraction to come to Universal Studios, and creative forces were teaming together behind the scenes to wow visitors. Universal Studios Orlando announced they would indeed bring Optimus Prime and Bumblebee to life in the form of a 3-D attraction. And we had just under 12 months to make it happen.

Designing in the Fast Lane

BRPH designed 80,000 sf of building including a basement to support a multi-level interactive ride + 3D visuals and other effects, indoor queueing and a gift shop. In less than a year, including fast track design, this project went from just a rumor to open for business attraction. The aggressive timeframe was noted by park officials as the fastest a project as complex as this has ever been built at Universal.
