Breathing new life into a landmark Orlando building, BRPH has transformed the former The Lamp & Shade Fair repair shop into the colorful and whimsical Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen and Cocktails.

This up-and-coming Central Florida hotspot pays playful homage to its 40-year roots by incorporating lamp shade motifs throughout, including a mural by a local artist depicting fashionable figures adorned with lampshades to create plenty of Instagram-able moments. The interior features a custom wallcovering by Astek, interweaving lamp shades into a dynamic squirrel pattern. The bar is the focal point of the space with integrated lighting accessorized by colorful accents and seating for 22 patrons. A collaboration with Barn Light, a Central Florida lighting manufacturer, resulted in an eclectic collection of bespoke fixtures that illuminate the cozy space. A curated collection of furniture provides 72 lounge seat options for guests to cozy up with a craft cocktail and socialize with friends.

Outside, a profound diversity mural by Luna Mosaic Arts, commissioned in 2016 to honor the Pulse Nightclub victims, was thoughtfully preserved.

This blend of history and creativity makes this destination a vibrant tribute to its past and a beacon of interior design ingenuity.
