Andy Miller, Chief Engineer, BRPHMelbourne, Fla., April 30, 2026–BRPH announced the retirement of Andrew Miller, PE, SE, vice president and chief engineer, following a 43-year career with the firm.

Miller joined BRPH in 1982 after earning a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Over the course of his career, he contributed to the firm’s growth from a regional practice to a national and international provider of architecture, engineering and construction services.

Licensed as a professional engineer in more than 30 states and a structural engineer in Arizona and Georgia, Miller provided technical leadership on complex projects across aerospace, defense, manufacturing, entertainment, education and commercial sectors.

His project experience includes the Amazon Leo payload processing facility at Kennedy Space Center in Florida; the Boeing 777X composite wing center in Everett, Washington; Boeing 787 Dreamliner production facilities in South Carolina; and the Pacific Spaceport Complex in Kodiak, Alaska. He also supported the design of the Air Force Technical Applications Center at Patrick Space Force Base in Florida.

During his tenure as chief engineer, Miller served as a technical resource across the organization, supporting major pursuits, mentoring staff and guiding project teams through complex engineering challenges. He was known for his collaborative approach and focus on practical problem-solving.

“Andy’s impact on BRPH, our community and the industry is significant,” said Brian Curtin, CEO and chairman of the board. “His leadership, technical expertise and unwavering commitment to doing things the right way have defined our culture and set a standard that will carry forward for decades to come.”

Miller’s commitment to mentorship helped shape the next generation of engineering leaders at BRPH. Among them is Eric Bradford, PE, LEED AP, national practice leader of structural engineering, who assumed leadership of the firm’s nationwide structural practice 10 years ago.

“Andy has been an incredible mentor and role model throughout my career,” said Bradford. “His ability to simplify complex challenges and lead with integrity has had a lasting impact on me and countless others across the firm. I’m honored to build upon the strong foundation he established for our structural engineering practice.”

Following Miller’s retirement, Richard Hunton will assume the role of chief engineer. Hunton brings 41 years of industry experience, including 11 years with BRPH, and will continue to advance the firm’s technical excellence and engineering leadership.

In retirement, Miller plans to travel, spend time with family and focus on community involvement.
