This year’s 34th Annual Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, held April 16 – 19, didn’t disappoint, with the space industry’s best and brightest coming together to share updates on the newest space technology, international space program strategies and the future of the global space economy.

This year’s event featured presentations by Vice President Mike Pence, discussions about aircraft safety in space, the future of Low Earth Orbit and the International Space Station, NASA’s newest innovations, our nation’s return to the moon, and much more.

Speakers from international space and government agencies, major satellite manufacturers, global space contractors, international news media, the Aerospace Industries Association and the hosting Space Foundation, were all present.

With a 50+ year history in designing launch pads, processing facilities and attractions for the U.S. Space Program, BRPH was also pleased to learn during the Symposium that Orbital ATK selected our company to complete the design of the Mobile Launcher Platform for their newly-named OmegA launch vehicle, one of only four contenders competing for the USAF Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) program.

Events like the Annual Space Symposium offer BRPH an opportunity to meet with space-related clients, partners and prospects in person and stay ahead of the curve when it comes to incorporating today’s space-related technology and needs into our clients’ facility designs.
