Melbourne Architecture Studio Leader Tapped to Lead Architecture Practice for Nationally Ranked AEC Firm
MELBOURNE, FLA. May 21, 2025 – BRPH, a nationally ranked architecture, engineering and construction firm headquartered in Melbourne, Fla., has named Robert (Rob) Bartlett architecture national practice leader. Most recently, Bartlett served as architecture studio leader for the firm’s headquarters office in Melbourne. He succeeds Jim Hillier, who recently retired from the firm’s Seattle office after 10 years of service.
“We’re thrilled to have Rob at the helm of our architecture practice. In his 14 years with the firm, he has brought thoughtful design and strong leadership to dozens of entertainment, manufacturing and education projects throughout Central Florida and nationwide,” said Marti Watts, executive vice president of BRPH. “He has proven himself to be a dedicated mentor to rising designers and architects within the firm and uses his leadership acumen to advance the architecture industry as a whole.”
In his new role as national practice leader, Bartlett will provide strategic direction related to design/production in the industry, in collaboration with BRPH’s creative group. He will lead and direct the architecture department regarding organizational structure, revenue, quality assurance, and professional development/mentorship, as well as assisting with sales.
“The BRPH architecture group is an amazingly talented and dedicated team, and I take great pride in calling them colleagues,” said Bartlett. “As I have gotten to know them better through my new role, I am inspired to more fully learn their many talents and then help make connections between teammates who may not yet realize the deep reservoir of knowledge, passion, and perspective that we possess.”
Bartlett is a registered architect with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He currently serves as president of Space Coast AIA. He earned a Bachelor of Art from The American University and a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
