Forsyth County Schools
East Forsyth is the newest high school for Forsyth County Schools and the fourth collaboration between BRPH and the school district. Designed to accommodate 2,100 students, the 390,000-square-foot facility rests on an 88-acre campus and provides 109 various instructional spaces that support the ever-changing educational environment. Capitalizing on underutilized spaces, the design features many unique elements, including a sunken outdoor amphitheater, creating an immersive gathering space and multi-modal learning opportunities. Recognizing the challenging skills required to prepare students to enter the workforce, the school offers a full array of programs for various career pathways. Aside from traditional career, technical and agriculture education (CTAE) programs such as construction technology and culinary arts, East Forsyth also provides an entirely new and unique career development program, referred to as “HGTV.” This career development area includes elements of interior design, marketing, design, engineering, construction and audio/video production and features a number of unique lab spaces for the programs.
