KISSIMMEE, FLA., March 24, 2026 – BRPH and Austin Commercial, along with Osceola County and state leaders, have broken ground on a 30,000-square-foot, multi-use laboratory at NeoCity, marking a significant step forward in the region’s push to expand high-tech innovation and attract advanced industries.

Designed to support wet, dry and cryogenic lab functions, the $22 million facility is expected to fuel research, advanced manufacturing and semiconductor growth in Central Florida. The project is funded in part by a $17.5 million grant awarded through Florida Commerce under Secretary J. Alex Kelly, along with support from Osceola County.

County officials described the project as a transformational investment in the region’s economic future.

“This facility represents a significant investment in research, innovation and workforce development,” Osceola County leaders said. “The lab will support advanced industries and strengthen the region’s ability to attract and grow high-value companies, accelerating long-term economic opportunities across Central Florida.”

The new lab further positions NeoCity as a globally recognized hub for high-tech innovation. The campus continues to gain attention for its international partnerships and talent pipeline, including the nationally ranked NeoCity Academy.

The facility will serve as a critical resource for companies and researchers looking to scale emerging technologies while strengthening the region’s competitiveness in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Andrew Liby, business unit leader, manufacturing & industrial at BRPH, said the project reflects a broader vision for innovation-driven growth.

“This is more than a building — it’s infrastructure for discovery,” Liby said. “Facilities like this create the environment where industry, education and research come together to accelerate breakthroughs and position NeoCity as a global leader in advanced technology.”

County Manager Don Fisher emphasized that the project represents more than physical expansion — it is a strategic investment in the future of Osceola County’s economy and workforce.
