Mohamad Fazeli and James Woodard Also Receive Engineering and Leadership Recognition

(West Palm Beach) The National Engineers Council, an organization dedicated to publicly recognizing engineering achievement, in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Economic Develop Board, honored BRPH with four awards at the recent 7th Annual National Engineers Week Honors & Awards Banquet in West Palm Beach. These awards included:

  • A Distinguished Project Award for seven Florida Power & Light Support Service Centers in Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, Collier and Flagler Counties. BRPH provided architecture, engineering, interior design, construction administration and commissioning services for these field centers. The BRPH team incorporated design elements to ensure the mission-critical facilities could remain fully operational during hurricane events with up to 170 mph sustained winds and 226 mph 3-second gusts. Impact protection covers and coatings and redundant systems for electrical and data communication were also incorporated.
  • A Distinguished Project Award for Universal Studios Skull Island: Reign of Kong attraction. BRPH provided professional architectural, engineering and construction administration services for the attraction, providing guests with a bumpy ride through lush landscapes, elaborate sets and motion-based platforms.
  • An Outstanding Engineering Achievement Merit Award for BRPH Senior Structural Engineer Mohamad Fazeli for his design work on complex manufacturing facilities for companies like Boeing, OneWeb and Embraer.
  • A Future Technology Leader Award for BRPH Mechanical Engineer James Woodard.
