Joshua Meharg - VP, Aerospace & Defense

Melbourne, Fla. Feb. 21, 2022 – BRPH, a nationally ranked architecture, engineering and construction firm headquartered in Melbourne, Fla., is pleased to announce the promotion of Joshua Meharg, PE, to vice president of its aerospace and defense market sector.

Meharg joined BRPH in June 2014 as an electrical engineer in the firm’s Atlanta office and developed into the engineering manager for the location. He then led an effort to establish a branch office in Huntsville, where he has successfully developed clients and

established a significant and growing presence for the firm. He took over BRPH’s aerospace and defense market sector as an interim leader last fall. Meharg will continue to work from BRPH’s Huntsville office.

As vice president of aerospace and defense, Meharg will be responsible for the performance of the aerospace and defense sector and for ensuring its growth. As the former lead for BRPH’s Huntsville office, he provided oversight and project management for a variety of clients, including those in the manufacturing, education and commercial markets. His experience as an electrical engineer includes design and analysis of electrical systems for clients in aerospace, commercial, nuclear power, federal/government, higher education, sports, entertainment, complex manufacturing, and research and development facilities.

Meharg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Georgia Southern University. He is a registered engineer in Alabama, Georgia, Washington and California.
