(West Palm Beach, FL) – BRPH, a Central Florida-based architecture, design and owner services firm, is pleased to have been selected as part of the Design-Build team, along with Bohler Engineering and led by Gray Construction, to provide architecture, engineering and construction services for the newest Gulfstream Aerospace Customer Service Center at Palm Beach International Airport.

The 115,000 SF maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility will replace a smaller, existing service center on the property and is anticipated to open its doors by first quarter 2020. The facility includes a storage hangar and customer offices – also designed by BRPH – for Gulfstream’s sister company Jet Aviation. While Gulfstream will be handling customer MRO needs, Jet Aviation will  operate an all-new storage hangar, customer offices and fuel farm.

The new facility is expected to break ground in late 2018 and once open, it is expected to create approximately 50 new jobs for the area.

“We’ve enjoyed assisting both Gulfstream and Jet Aviation with a number of their critical facilities over the years and know that our partnership with Gray Construction and Bohler on this project will ensure a state-of-the-art facility delivered on time and on budget,” said BRPH Director of Manufacturing Marti Watts. “Both Gulfstream and Jet Aviation will be able to continue to provide the excellent service their customers expect, without interruption.”

In 2017, the existing Gulfstream Customer Center was utilized by more than 975 aircraft. Gulfstream West Palm Beach offers a broad range of services, including major inspections, structural modifications and repairs and major avionics installations and system upgrades. The site is a certified U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency repair station.

The expansion was made possible by the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, the Palm Beach County Commissioners, the Palm Beach County Department of Airports, the West Palm Beach City Commission and the State of Florida’s Economic Development team at Enterprise Florida.
