Oct. 18, 2023 –  BRPH, a nationally ranked architecture, engineering and construction firm headquartered in Melbourne, Fla., announced today the appointment of Gregory Kern to strategic account leader. In this new role, Kern is responsible for identifying, developing and nurturing relationships with key clients to drive revenue growth with large organizations at the corporate level.

Kern comes to BRPH with 20 years of experience in program management, client development, business development, and technical sales with a focus on building multidisciplinary teams. Throughout his career, he has captured more than $650 million in technical sales and has led new market development for industries including commercial space, oil and gas, industrial development, aviation and land development. Most recently, Kern served as special projects leader and program manager for Michael Baker International, an engineering consultancy with nearly 100 offices across the United States.

He spent much of his career serving in progressive roles at Tetra Tech Inc., a consulting and engineering firm with 550 offices worldwide. He culminated his career there as director of state, municipal and commercial market sectors, where he led business development activities for the EGS Division comprised of 450 employees and $185 million of business in annual revenue.

Kern earned a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University, Bloomington, with additional focus areas in Environmental Law and Business and Organic Chemistry. Kern is an Eagle Scout.
