Melbourne, Fla, May 27, 2022 – BRPH, a nationally ranked architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firm, announced today it will award eight $1,000 college scholarships to minority students majoring in architecture and engineering. The firm established the Future Achievers Scholarship program last year, offering six awards of $1,000.

“We created our scholarship program last year to encourage and support well-deserving ethnically diverse students to pursue their dreams of earning an architecture or engineering degree,” said Janie McDermott, BRPH vice president, chief human resources officer, principal. “Our firm’s culture is built upon mentorship, and we take seriously our role in training the next generation. We hope these bright young scholars will one day join the BRPH team.”

To qualify, students must be ethnically diverse, maintain a 3.0 or above grade point average; be enrolled in college as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student; major in architecture or civil, structural, electrical or mechanical engineering; and be a citizen or legal resident of the United States.
