BRPH received the Melbourne Regional Chamber’s 2020 Corporate Impact of the Year Award in recognition of the firm’s contributions toward a broad range of economic development activities that demonstrate substantial investment in the community. The award was presented at the Chamber’s annual Impact Awards and Board Installation on Friday, July 16, 2021.

Brian E. Curtin, PE, president, CEO and chairman of the board for BRPH, was on hand to accept the award. He stated, “BRPH has committed to this community and cemented our footprint in Melbourne for nearly six decades. Our growth has truly been the relentless pursuit of progress and parallels the economic development of the Space Coast and Florida as a whole.”

In addition to the firm’s reputable design and construction work, BRPH’s commitment to the Melbourne community is also well known. BRPH has and continues to partner with the Chamber and other economic developers to attract new businesses to the Space Coast like Embraer and One Web Satellites. The firm maintains strong working relationships with local partners to include Blue Origin, L3Harris, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Health First, Port Canaveral and so many others who advance their businesses in the Melbourne community.

“BRPH’s ability to complete highly complex, highly technical and award-winning projects have helped many new and expanding companies and institutions secure their success here in our region and beyond,” said Michael Ayers, Melbourne Regional Chamber president and CEO.

The company’s allegiance to the Melbourne community is further exemplified by the dedication of 156 team members in BRPH’S Melbourne office – all of whom own shares in the company and call Brevard County home. Every year, BRPH team members donate time and resources for local causes. BRPH is a longtime supporter of United Way, Junior Achievement and many other professional and civic organizations, including the Space Coast EDC and the Melbourne Regional Chamber.
