(MELBOURNE, FL) – At this week’s Awards Celebration, the United Way of Brevard County presented the 2018 Chairman’s Award for Community Support to BRPH “for outstanding leadership, generosity and dedication to improving our community.”

The award, presented to only one local company per year, recognizes philanthropic efforts that go above and beyond simply contributing to the annual United Way campaign. “The contributions of time, talent and gifts from BRPH and its’ employees have helped mobilize the caring power of our community, making a positive difference in Brevard County,” said United Way President Rob Rains. “BRPH provides a wonderful example for other local companies to follow.”

“At BRPH, we have always been committed to community involvement,” said BRPH President & CEO Brian Curtin. “Our staff members are encouraged to serve on local non-profit boards, contribute to their favorite charities through our “Best Place to Work” program and volunteer to help local organizations in need. It is important to our company culture and on behalf of our staff, we are very appreciative of this recognition.”

BRPH executives and staff are regularly involved in local charitable initiatives tied to students, veterans and the elderly, volunteering time and resources to support national veterans homeless initiatives, the Brevard Schools Foundation, No Limits Academy, Aging Matters, Junior Achievement, Keep Brevard Beautiful, the Central Florida Boys and Girls Club, Take Stock in Children and many others.
