March 29, 2024 – BRPH, a nationally ranked architecture, engineering and construction firm with 10 offices nationwide, recently named David Carp its general legal counsel. Carp will replace Mason Williams who is retiring in April after five years with the firm.

Carp comes to BRPH with more than two decades of legal and risk management experience, including 13 years as general counsel for large corporations in the New York City area. Career highlights include four years as general counsel for the U.S. parent company of the Würth Group, the world’s largest industrial distributor with operations in 80 countries and 80,000+ employees. He also spent four years as general counsel for Compass, one of the nation’s largest real estate services and technology companies with offices throughout the United States. Over the course of his career, he’s led negotiations with leading architecture, design and construction firms, presented at national conferences on legal and risk management topics, and was selected as a finalist for the General Counsel of the Year Award in the category of private companies with $1.0 billion+ in revenue by a leading Northeast region business journal.

Carp earned an MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University. He is currently undergoing the certification process for his CRM (certified risk manager) designation. A past board member for the AHRC Foundation, he spent nine years serving this New York based organization that serves children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
