BRPH joined Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) in celebrating the groundbreaking of the Student Union, the newest addition to the college’s Melbourne campus.

Surrounded by state lawmakers, EFSC president Jim Richey, the board of Trustees, students and design-build partner Ajax Construction, the BRPH Education team celebrated the beginning of construction for their latest project. The Student Union is designed to be the new “front door” of the Melbourne campus. This two-story glass structure will include space for a variety of student services, clubs and activities, while also acting as a central meeting space for students.

The design of the building will highlight elements of the recently opened Health Sciences Institute and Public Safety Institute. Landscaped plazas will flank both sides of the building and a rooftop terrace will provide views of the campus.
