EMBRAER PHENOM MANUFACTURING AND DELIVERY CENTERMelbourne, Florida
MULTIPLE FACILITIES. ONE DESIGN BRAND.
Embraer Aircraft Holdings
With a long-term relationship spanning more than six years, four separate project announcements, and multiple facilities, Embraer’s facility portfolio has remained consistent and unique by partnering with BRPH for each and every project at its Melbourne International Airport campus. It all started with Area I & II, or Embraer’s Customer Delivery Center and adjacent Manufacturing and Assembly Facility.
The two-story Customer Delivery Center’s functionality is driven by the customer experience from the sales stage, through configuration until final delivery process. The facility features a vast atrium, mockup showroom, formal dining-room and fully equipped delivery suites that allows customers to both conduct business and relax during the delivery of their aircraft.
The manufacturing and assembly facility combines aircraft assembly operations with administrative support. At full capacity, the facility will permit the assembly of eight Phenom 100 or 300 aircraft per month. The area is designed as a high-volume, long-span structure with under hung cranes to permit the greatest production flexibility possible. The structure is served by a system of in-floor utility distribution boxes to bring power and compressed air to various assembly cells on the open floor. Nearby, is a two bay, down-draught paint booth, for aircraft cleaning, surface preparation and painting.
