Graphics Manager Brings Highest IRT Certification to BRPH for Clients

(MELBOURNE, FL) – BRPH, a Central Florida-based architecture and design firm, is pleased to announce that Todd Reed, Graphics Manager and Principal, has earned a Level III Infrared Thermography (IRT) Certification–the most advanced training level available.

The greatest benefit to using thermography is its fast, non-invasive ability to detect damage and inefficient systems, saving BRPH clients time and money.

By completing this advanced infrared training, Todd is able to provide guidance to Level I and II certified personnel and is a valuable resource to consult when reviewing operating and maintenance procedures, or involving any redesign of equipment.

“Thermography is beneficial to our clients and our team because it is a non-destructive testing tool capable of saving time, informing renovation decisions and enhancing safety,” said Reed. “When used with a drone it can save time by flying over a large roof in much less time than the traditional walking method, for example. When used for condition assessment it allows us to inform our client of unseen issues related to water intrusion, energy loss and inefficient systems. During the condition assessment when electrical panels are scanned before and after opened it can prevent injury to our team by identifying potential dangers. Having an in-house Level III Certified Thermographer is a differentiator for BRPH because we can expedite decision making, better inform the decision makers and provide another value-added service to our clients.
