BRPH has been selected by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to provide architecture and engineering services under the agency’s Southeast Regional Architect and Engineering (SERAE) program. The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award contract has a total shared ceiling of $300 million over a five-year term.
BRPH’s work will focus on the rehabilitation, modernization, and development of new systems for facilities, utilities, and ground support at several NASA locations across the United States. These include Kennedy Space Center in Florida; Johnson Space Center, Sonny Carter Training Facility, and Ellington Field in Texas; White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico; Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama; Michoud Assembly Facility in Louisiana; Stennis Space Center in Mississippi; other NASA assets; and additional launch or landing sites worldwide.

Under the contract, BRPH will perform a variety of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services as well as architectural services for the design and other professional services needed to rehabilitate, modernize, and develop new systems for facilities, utilities, and ground support systems.
BRPH’s technical depth is supported by decades of experience providing A/E/C services for complex projects at every major active launch complex in the United States. The firm also has supported NASA, other Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal agencies and their contractors in classified and unclassified projects related to new, modernized and rehabilitated launch, payload processing, ancillary support buildings, infrastructure, communications/tracking stations and specialized ground support systems throughout the U.S., down range and at worldwide locations.

KSC Barge Terminal Upgrade – BRPH provided structural modifications to the KSC Barge Terminal to accommodate the Space Launch System (SLS) core segments. NASA’s barge, Pegasus, will be used to ferry the massive core stage of the SLS on journeys from the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans to other NASA centers for testing and for launches. Our team worked closely with multiple NASA sites and provided “out-of-the-box” solutions to modernize this critical infrastructure that supports the most powerful rocket ever built for deep space missions.
