Sept. 12, 2024 –  BRPH, a nationally ranked architecture, engineering and construction firm headquartered in Melbourne, Fla., announced today the promotion of Gregory Kern to vice president of business development. Kern joined the firm in October 2023 as a strategic account leader responsible for identifying, developing and nurturing relationships with key clients to drive revenue growth. In his newly expanded role, Kern will lead a team of business development professionals across the country to help the firm continue to meet its growth objectives across its architecture/engineering, construction and mission solutions companies and its five business units: aerospace/defense, manufacturing, education, entertainment and hospitality.

Kern came to BRPH in 2023 with 20 years of experience in program management, client development, business development and technical sales with a focus on building multidisciplinary teams. Prior to joining BRPH, he served as special projects leader and program manager for Michael Baker International, an engineering consultancy with nearly 100 offices across the United States. He spent much of his career serving in progressive roles at Tetra Tech Inc., a consulting and engineering firm with 550 offices worldwide, where he most recently served as director of state, municipal and commercial market sectors.
