Young Women's Academy

The Young Women's Academy, a school for gifted girls in grades 6-12, brings new life to a 1950's-era Miami office building. BRPH preserved the Bauhaus influence of the original building with exterior improvements faithful to its modernist roots. In sharp contrast, the school's interior employs cutting-edge educational concepts and technologies. All three floors were completely gutted, allowing for the introduction of updated interiors, open public space, and dynamic multi-use spaces.
