Saint Cloud High School
The vision for St. Cloud High School was co-created by key stakeholders including the School District of Osceola County, the principal with staff input, Cummings General Contractors, and the BRPH design team. This collaborative effort addressed the challenge of how to create a new campus within a fully occupied existing campus, ensuring student safety by sequencing construction and demolition activities around school sessions. At the same time, the design process sought to join existing and new structures together in a unified campus that looks and feels like it belongs solidly at the center of the community.
The master plan includes two classroom buildings, an administration building that will be completely renovated, and a gymnasium building that will be repurposed into outdoor dining and custodial/receiving space. New buildings will include a three-story classroom building with a media center, an auditorium with classroom space for music, dance, and drama, a two-story classroom building, a new gymnasium building, a new vocational building, and a new cafeteria/kitchen facility.
