Operations & Checkout Modernization

BRPH provided architectural and engineering design for fast track construction of NASA's newly renovated high bay facility to be used for the final integration and checkout of the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle. The project is part of BRPH's work at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) to provide the necessary A/E design services to upgrade existing facilities for processing and launch operations required by the new ARES family of space vehicles. In 2010, NASA administrators discontinued the ARES program and are now working to identify a new direction for human spaceflight.
