Melbourne International Airport

The circulation area in the terminal wing at the Melbourne International Airport was designed around a 65' high atrium that illuminates the public areas with natural light and welcomes travelers with tropical palms and other natural landscaping. A new ticketing area with 250 linear feet of airline counter, baggage handling, and ATO space was added along with a baggage pick-up and concession areas. The new elevated concourse provides the airport with seven gates, five loading bridges, and substantial under concourse airline operations area for security, mechanical/electrical equipment rooms, and airline operation space.
