Gulfstream Aircraft

The Gulfstream G650 production facility is part of a $300 million dollar phased expansion that provides a world-class environment for Gulfstream's manufacturing needs far into the future.  The main production floor has an impressive 280' clear-span supported by trusses nearly 20' deep at their mid-span. Composed of 3,000 tons of structural steel, the trusses were assembled in the field with 33,000 bolted connections made on-site without incident or delay.  Five under-hung bridge cranes provide total coverage of the production floor.  The facility includes a sub-assembly paint booth and drying oven, wing delivery station, central energy plant, and administrative offices.
