Crystal River Elementary School

This project included design modifications and renovations to an existing 80,000 SF building and an 18,000 SF addition in Citrus County, Florida. The addition includes administration, art, music, and two skills labs and serves as the new front door of the 55-year-old school. The total renovation included new HVAC, electrical, and other infrastructure improvements for the entire campus. The design addressed the challenge of on-going student safety as well as how to create a new campus with the existing campus fully occupied, sequencing construction and demolition activities around school sessions.
