Dr. Nancy Foster Environmental Complex

The Dr. Nancy Foster Environmental Complex on the Key West waterfront is a unique facility that fosters an understanding of the functions of the ecosystem and promotes preservation of the extraordinary marine environment of the Florida Keys. The Eco-Discovery Center, administration building, and a maintenance facility were completed on schedule by the BRPH construction team in spite of direct hits from four hurricanes. The buildings are hurricane-hardened and designed for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
