T. DeWitt Taylor Middle/High School

T. DeWitt Taylor was a middle/high school in Pierson, Florida, "The Fern Capital of the World," that had served a rural, diverse population for over four decades educating students from grade 6 - 12. When replacement facilities were required, two major stakeholders, the school district and the community members of Pierson, held strong and seemingly disparate opinions of how the new school or schools should be designed. BRPH facilitated collaboration and consensus among the stakeholders by working together with the students, administration, and the community to identify issues, explore solutions, and ultimately create a successful and unique resolution to a complex problem.
