Don Estridge Middle School

Don Estridge High Tech Middle School and Safe Schools Institute was an adaptive reuse of an abandoned IBM building. BRPH preserved the original façade and converted the interior into academic and administrative space. Two new buildings reflect the original building's architecture. This high tech school lives up to its name with student identification fingerprint scanners, teacher wristband panic buttons, bio-metric scanners, surveillance cameras, wireless network, and wireless surround sound. The Safe Schools Institute incorporates the latest practices and technology for school safety.
