Dillard High School

All but one original building of this 1924 historic high school had been lost over time and a complete upgrade of remaining ‘50's and ‘60's era buildings was required at the Dillard School of the Performing Arts. BRPH master planned renovations for existing buildings and added new administration and classroom buildings. The most exciting new facility was a 120,000 SF performing arts classroom building with a 650-seat theater and professional quality sound, lighting, and rigging. The building also contains a 250-seat recital hall, black box theatre, three dance studios, and several music and art studios to support the award-winning performing arts program.
