Colonial High School

A cornerstone of Orlando since 1959, Colonial High School had a remarkable past. BRPH was charged with designing the school's bright future. An in-depth condition assessment of every building on campus indicated a high level of maintenance had kept facilities in service beyond a typical useful life. The resulting master plan incorporated existing structures that could be saved and added new structures to bring this iconic school to current standards. Multi-phased construction progressed safely, with no interruption to class or extracurricular schedules. The "new" campus for 3,000 has become a model for school renovation in this district.
