Charleston Recreation Center

The major attraction at the Charleston Uniform Shop and Outdoor Recreation Center is a non-reflective glass tower, exhibiting a climbing wall visible to all approaching the building. The symmetry of the facility's shopping spaces allows patrons and outdoor enthusiasts the flexibility of strolling and shopping or the challenge of climbing the wall. Completed via design/build for the U.S. Department of Navy's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) division, the metal building construction features an attractive brick exterior finish, chosen for durability and ease of maintenance.
