Chain of Lakes Regional Park

The 300-acre Chain of Lakes Regional Park in Titusville, Florida, began as a 45-acre detention lake system, designed to protect the Indian River Lagoon from stormwater runoff which evolved into a regional recreation complex offering soccer and softball facilities, playgrounds and nature walks. A public-private partnership, Chain of Lakes also serves as an educational showcase for conservation of natural resources and preservation of historical landmarks. Future expansion will include a "Health Village" healing environment where older adults can find specialized medical and lifestyle services in a historical town center setting.
