Fort Gordon Child Development Center
BRPH is providing design services for a Child Development Center (CDC) at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The new CDC will accommodate 232 children and will include administrative areas, a commercial kitchen, and activity areas for children. The Fort Gordon CDC is a Centers of Standardization project in which the design must comply with Army Standards for Child Development Centers as well as base standards. The 24,159 SF facility is designed to meet a LEED Silver certification and includes antiterrorism measures. This design-build project is being completed in three-dimensional BIM software.
