MWR Panama City Youth Center

This 10,000 SF youth Center at NSA Panama City, Florida is a single story building, designed to achieve LEED Silver certification. The building design is simple, functional, and durable, with classrooms for children and teens, a computer lab, and a multi-purpose game/activity room. A covered sports court provides protection from the sun for young athletes and lends shade to an outdoor playground for the younger children. The BRPH integrated services team was selected by Navy Personnel Command to provide design/build services for the youth center. The team will use Building Information Modeling (BIM) to generate a virtual model of the project, enabling all stakeholders to experience the project before it is constructed.
