Windy Ridge K8

When converting this elementary school into a K-8 school, BRPH looked to the community for design inspiration. The existing campus consisted of four permanent buildings and 76 modular buildings connected by covered, elevated walkways. The new BRPH design eliminated the modular buildings, retained the four permanent buildings, and added a prototype classroom building in a strategic location for visibility and community use, tying new and old together with a Florida Mediterranean style that fit easily into the neighborhood. Renovations to the four existing buildings included total reconfiguration of the interior spaces for new functions as well as exterior renovations.
