Harris Corporation moves forward with high-tech facility

MELBOURNE, FLORIDA - On Monday, Harris Corporation publicly announced plans to move forward with a new $100 million Engineering Facility on its 55-acre Palm Bay, Florida campus. BRPH is provding design services for the project. This ultra-modern, highly efficient facility will be unlike anything else in Brevard County and will include a number of unique features. Highlights include:
- 6-story, 450,000 SF facility
- Modern all-glass curtain wall for optimal views and use of natural lighting
- Accommodations for 1,500-1,600 Harris Corporation employees
- Amenities include a multi-level conference room, employee cafeteria, executive dining room, fitness facility and game room
- Highly technical fit-out for communications abilities including LED screens and specific audio-visual requirements
- LEED Silver tracking
