Military band facility well underway
January 17, 2011
FORT BRAGG, NORTH CAROLINA - One of BRPH's most recent projects underway, a new Band Training Facility at Fort Bragg, North Carolina for the 214th Army Ground Forces Band, has been featured by the U.S. Army on its website. This represents yet another design project for the Savannah Army Corps of Engineers and one in which we are teamed with construction partner Lifecycle Construction. On the website, an update with photos is provided along with mention that the project schedule remains on track in spite of less than favorable weather conditions.
The 20,000 SF, LEED Silver facility will include a state-of-the-art band rehearsal hall, large and small group rehearsal rooms, sound room for professional recordings, and an administrative suite of offices. Specialized acoustical design and construction is required for audio recording and performance requirements. The project is being managed by our federal division in the Washington D.C. regional office.
