BRPH selected to design new radio station at Florida Tech
June 29, 2010
(MELBOURNE, FLORIDA) - BRPH was recently selected to provide professional design services for the new WFIT Broadcast and Recording Studios. Broadcast from the campus of Florida Tech, WFIT is a cultural resource that serves the listening public with quality music, National Public Radio news, local programming, and encourages an interest in the arts and issues in the Melbourne community.
In contrast to its current 2,100 square foot studio located within an on-campus residence hall, WFIT's new production studios will be approximately 5,000 square foot and housed in its own facility. The program for the WFIT project consists of six broadcast and recording studios, including a teaching studio, and a larger fundraising or panel studio for live and recorded broadcasts. Offices and related support areas for WFIT programming are also included in the design scope.
