History

BRPH originated in 1964 in Central Florida when Ernie Briel, together with two engineers, Harry Rhame, and Lyle Houser, combined their talents with architect Raymond Poynter to form the new firm. The first letter of the last names of these four founders now represents our logo - BRPH. Mr. Poynter left the firm over 20 years ago and Mr. Briel, Mr. Rhame and Mr. Houser have since retired. Over the years, we developed niche markets and became highly specialized in aerospace, commercial/industrial, education, and federal facilities. Today, we are a collection of companies offering a full range of services in architecture, planning, engineering, interior design, and construction/facilities management.
